The Communications and Marketing Manager reports to the Director of Brand and Impact. This position is responsible for the tactical implementation and design of the organization’s brand, marketing, and communications strategy, and helping to manage the development and delivery of all related tools across the organization. Looking for someone to manage Print, Design, & Production; Email Marketing; our Website; Social Media; assist the Director and Senior Leadership in Branding/Messaging; provide research and reporting; provide support for events, including design of materials; copyediting; assist in PR/Media relations; and department administrative requests. The ideal candidate will hold an undergraduate degree in a liberal arts, communications, marketing, business or other relevant discipline; 5+ years designing and writing content, preferably in the nonprofit sector; outstanding writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design, professional printing and publishing skills are essential, including ability to present concepts verbally; advanced design skills using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator; experience with the following software is ideal but not required: Mailchimp, Wordpress, Wufoo, Cvent, and Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint; intermediate HTML skills; familiarity with social media platforms and trends; exemplary ability to work collaboratively and to build and maintain interdepartmental relationship; and entrepreneurial candidates who are flexible, willing to learn, and have a sense of humor are encouraged to apply.
