Subject: Minor League Baseball and the PBEO Job Fair - Special Group Rate Offer

I wanted to let you and your students know about Minor League Baseball™ and the Professional Baseball Employment Opportunities (PBEO®) program.

As the official employment service of Minor League Baseball, every year PBEO holds a Job Fair in conjunction with the Baseball Winter Meetings. The Job Fair provides a great opportunity to individuals who may be looking to work in the sports industry, and specifically in baseball. On average, there are 400-500 jobs posted at the Job Fair, a majority of which are entry level and/or internship positions. Over the course of three days, job seekers can apply to as many of these jobs as they would like, and potentially be interviewed and hired, all on-site.

This year’s PBEO Job Fair will be held in National Harbor, Maryland, Dec. 4-7, 2016 at Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center. You can read about the Job Fair by clicking here:

https://www.pbeo.com/job_fair.aspx

We encourage all of those interested in working in sports to think about attending the PBEO Job Fair. I have attached three flyers, which hopefully you will share with your students, or anyone else who may be interested in this opportunity. One of them lists the special group rate offer available, in case you wanted to put together a group to come out to Job Fair together. Another is just general information on the Job Fair and the third is general information on www.PBEO.com.

If you would like to put together a group, and save your students money on their registrations, please use the attached spreadsheet.

Please let me know if you have any questions. I hope to speak to you soon.

Sincerely,

MARK LABBAN
