jCCAH, an award-winning direct response agency, is seeking an experienced, passionate, and energetic copywriter to join our team in changing in the world. As a copywriter, you’ll advance the objectives of CCAH’s charitable nonprofit clients by writing, researching, and editing direct marketing copy. In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to our clients’ success, creating content that is on brand and on message. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ● Writes and edits direct marketing copy for digital and print media; ● Collaborates with account teams on creative strategy; ● Conducts research, including interviews: ● Writes in a range of styles and voices: ● Applies knowledge of direct marketing and nonprofit fundraising to creative work. Skills: ▪ Responsible time management and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment: ▪ Ability to write for a variety of audiences across channels: ▪ Excellent proofreading skills: ▪ Excellent written and verbal communication: ▪ Must be well organized, detail oriented, efficient and a team player: ▪ Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills: Ability to meet deadlines (possibly working additional hours as needed): Education & Experience: BA in English, Creative Writing, History, Journalism, Advertising or related field. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required. Agency experience preferred. Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising preferred. Interest in and passion for global issues a plus.
