SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER - Membership Marketing Partners, Fairfax and Alexandria, VA

MMP is looking to hire a Senior Account Manager to lead our day-to-day relationships with current and prospective clients. The ideal candidate has excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in all direct marketing channels, including SEM, display, SEO, and social. You must have a thorough understanding of data strategy, direct mail and production of print and digital media. You’ll assist the CEO and creative team with sales efforts, including written proposals and in-person new business presentations. If you have a proven track record in keeping workflow organized, calendars updated, colleagues motivated and clients happy, we want you on our team. Qualifications: 3-5 years of demonstrated job experience with a direct marketing agency, or non-profit organizations and associations.   Ability to strategize and develop campaigns and translate verbal discussions into full proposals and/or presentations. Strong customer service, team work, and communication skills.  Demonstrated innovation, creativity, and decision-making abilities. Solid comfort level with all Microsoft office products (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functionally to achieve desired results. Preferred Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business. Job Responsibilities:  Manage day-to-day activities for assigned clients, and corporate marketing and sales enablement efforts. Ensure clients’ marketing projects are on time, on budget, and on brand. Respond promptly to all client communications, including calls and emails. Assist in the preparation of reports and other materials for client meetings.  Manage multiple projects and priorities.  Attend conferences, seminars and trade shows and represent MMP.
