Sales Representative - Providence Center Inc - Arnold, MD 21012

Description:
This is a marketing, public relations and sales oriented job that is responsible for growing new business (generating leads for Providence Center’s products, services, potential partnerships, and admissions), providing marketing and customer service support for the organization’s production areas, as well as management of the retail store.

Requirements:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plans, organizes, and implements sales strategies and campaigns for Providence Center’s production entities
  • Develops and maintains relationships with current and potential production customers through superior customer service and strong communication skills
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management
  • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts
  • Works with management and production staff to set sales goals and develop action plans and schedules to achieve those goals.
  • Works with Production staff to develop new product lines
  • Manages Providence Center’s retail store, including overseeing the sales clerk, managing current inventory, and bringing in new products
  • Follows up on new leads and referrals stemming from field activity
  • Works craft fairs and events in the community to bring in sales and brand awareness.
  • Fulfills other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications/Skills

  • Proven track record in fulfillment operations and product sales is a must.
  • Superior customer service skills (outgoing, and energetic strongly desired).
  • Must be a people-person who enjoys working in various environments (indoors and outdoors)
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Self motivated and proven success in persistence and overcoming obstacles.

As Choptank's Representative, you play a meaningful role in providing student support to your campus community. What is the Choptank Campus Representative program- does this count as my internship:
Choptank’s Campus Representative serves as an advocate to help Choptank better meet students’ educational needs, while also playing a vital role in providing a student voice to faculty and Choptank professionals. It is a part-time position, and students will be paid upon satisfactory completion of the responsibilities. This program does not constitute as an internship.
What does the day to day job look like:
Tasks and responsibilities vary by the need of the organization and the needs of the students on Salisbury’s campus. Representatives typically work no more than five hours per week where they'll be interacting with other students, faculty, and Choptank professionals.
Who will the Campus Representative report to:
Choptank’s Campus Representative will report to our Recruiting department, in our Preston, MD headquarters. The representative will be expected to effectively communicate with the department via email or telephone on a weekly basis, and come to the office once a month. Outside of that communication, the representative should also be comfortable working on their own.

Ticket Sales Account Executive

This position will work under and report to: Director of Ticket Sales

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the team growth in season ticket, partial season ticket and group ticket revenue
• Prospecting new customers, and maintaining solid relationships with current clients for renewal sales
• Meeting or exceeding weekly and seasonal sales goals
• Efficiently cold calling new potential prospects and consistently converting new prospects into clients
• Providing quality, professional customer service to new and existing accounts
• Conducting appointments with prospective clients
• Staffing ticket sales tables at outside events
• Cultivating relationships with current clients for referral leads
• Creatively developing new ways to boost attendance of the team
• Other duties as necessary

Qualifications Required:
• Bachelor Degree is required

Inside Sales Representative (Part-Time)
Start Date: January 2018
This position will work under and report to: Director of Ticket Sales
The Inside Sales Representative position is a part time and seasonal sales position that is focused on connecting with Shorebirds fans via phone calls on a daily basis. This position will learn more about the fans game day experiences with the Shorebirds and determine if a season ticket, mini-plan, ticket pack or group outing would be appropriate fit for the customer for the 2018 season.

Responsibilities:
